Garden Grids™ and Irrigation Systems

Can You Connect Garden Grids™ To Irrigation/Sprinkler Systems?

Yes, you'll just need the right connector/adaptor added to your irrigation system. All of our products use 3/4" Garden Hose Thread (GHT) connectors since this is the normal garden hose and hose spigot size. The Garden Grid™ and Garden Grid™ manifold both use a 3/4" Female, Garden Hose Threaded connector.

To connect to your irrigation system, you would just need to make sure you add a 3/4" male garden hose threaded connector/adaptor to it and then either connect the Garden Grid™ directly to that (if it can reach) or attach one of our short garden hoses from that connector to the Garden Grid. We also recommend adding a water flow valve to the Garden Grid™ so you can manage how much water sprays out of the Garden Grid since with this setup you usually don't have a hose spigot handle that you can normally adjust. You can find our short hoses and valves here.

These connectors are fairly common at most hardware stores and online. You will just need to select one that is sized for your irrigation/sprinkler system's pipe diameter. For instance, if you have a 1/2" diameter pipe you will need to use a 1/2" Pipe to 3/4" Male Garden Hose Thread Connector.

If you already have a pipe thread connector (NPT) on your irrigation/sprinkler system there are also lots of pipe thread, to male garden hose thread adaptors as well.
